A little poem my Great Grandpa had that made me laugh. Hope it makes you laugh. :) (:

"Just a line to say I'm living
That I'm not among the dead,
Tho' I'm getting more forgetful
And more mixed up in the head.

For sometimes I can't remember,
When I stand at the front of the stairs
If I must go up for something
Or, If I've just come down from there.

Before the fridge so often
My poor mind is filled w/ doubt,
Have I just put the food away,
Or have I come to take some out?

And, then there's times when it's dark out,
W/ my night cap on my head
I don't know if I'm retiring
Or just getting out of bed.

So, if it's my turn to write to you
There's no need in getting sore,
I may think I've already written
And don't want to be a bore.

So, remember that I do love you
And wish that you were here.
Now it's getting near mail-time
So, I must say 'Good bye, m'dear.'

Hello People,
Last night I was given the best gift of the year. Grandpa and Grandma gave me a D45 Hammered Dulcimer gust finished made from Dusty Strings. Words can not express my thanks and gratitude for this. I will be hammering away for as long as is possible. Life has just been increased from happy to over controllable.

Hello you all,
Today I went outside into a wonderful bright sunny day. I know you are probably mad at me because of me not posting for so long, but that is how life is:) You see up above the great thing I received from my wonderful Grandpa and Grandma. It's a magnetic chess board. Also you see at the top some weired thing or maybe you don't, try to find it. I finished another book by N.D.Wilson called 100 Cupboards. It was a great book and I enjoyed it a lot.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Ken two days ago

I had allot of fun wrestling with you yesterday and I am so happy I have the Best Grandpa Ever. I hope I will be just like you when I get older.

Our Sabbath meal.

Hello everyone,
Saturday we had Grandpa Ken, Grandma Dot, and the Kruse’s over for our Sabbath meal. We had 22 people in are dinning room. I hope I can post a little video of it but for now any how you'll have to just hear (read) what it was like. At 6:00 pm let the fun began I like to say that is on the Sabbath. It was really loud because of the so many different conversations going on. We had all kinds of ciders for our drinks. We had some corn from my garden, sweetish balls, scallop potatoes, and salad. The Kruse’s stayed till 1:00 am talking. They left and we all went to bed.
